Love Holds Life Children's Cancer Foundation

This Thursday, December 1st, we will host Richard Senato, founder of Love Holds Life Children's Cancer Foundation. This is a local 501c3 charity out of Wappingers Falls and as you can imagine, their mission is to defray the costs of huge medical bills and associated costs such as travel expenses incurred while families fight for their children.  Even with insurance, co-pays and deductibles can add up to thousands and thousands of dollars that families just don't have. Add to that the cost of prescriptions even with a generic brand and it is just heartbreaking.

 

Though this is a tough subject, especially at this time of year, we are bringing Love Holds Life Children's Cancer Foundation to Rotary because they would like to discuss not only their organization but their annual toy drive. This is not required, but if you would like to bring a NEW, UNWRAPPED toy with you on Thursday, we will be collecting for LHL's toy giveaway scheduled for Saturday, December 10 at the Paramount in Peekskill. The ages are between 2 & 14 years of age.
