Dr. David Mauricio joins the Rotary Club of Peekskill during our Zoom meeting on May 7, 2020. Dr. Mauricio is the acting Superintendent of the Peekskill City School District.
Ridvan Foxhall was inducted during our April 23, 2020 Zoom meeting. In 2006, she was responsible for creating a Children’s Theatre Company (CTC) in Peekskill, a program that serves a diverse group of children ages 8 – 17.
The Peekskill Rotary Club raised over $4,000 in donations from its members for the Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps. at our regular Rotary meeting on Thursday April 16th which was held online via Zoom.
The Peekskill Rotary is a big part of this Great City, and when called upon, we are always ready to help. Together with our partners and private donors, we have been distributing food to families in the Peekskill Community on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Zoom meetings are all the rage and our club has embraced them to stay connected. Starting tomorrow we will be awarding our scholarships at the meetings until June 18th. Attendance has been great so far. Let's continue that trend and show support for our local seniors that will be receiving scholarships from us.
